Our Spring (May/June) Peer Mentor Program is now full.

The next one will be run in the fall, facilitated by Cathy Eustace. Please contact her at cathy@neuro-ability.ca to register early!

The purpose of the program is to provide peer mentorship to enhance clinical reasoning and treatment skills with the goal of maximizing client function.  The sessions  will include a combination of patient demonstration/workshop, practical sessions, theoretical discussion, and patient treatment sessions in pairs.  Related readings from peer-reviewed journals shall be assigned for each week.

Customized, Small-Group Exercise-Yoga Classes for the Neuro Population

The next series of classes will run from May 15/17 to June 26/28.

The yoga-style classes are led by a physiotherapist and customized for people living with and rehabbing from neurological conditions and injuries. The courses provide personalized instruction and exercise adaptation in a fun, social, small-group setting.  For more on the May-June 2012 course sign-ups, see Neuro-Ability Exercise Classes.

Dates: Wednesday evenings May 2, 9, (not the 16th), 23, 30, June 6, 13. [Six sessions run over seven weeks]

Time: 5:15-6:45 (1.5 hour)

Location: the Neuro-Ability Clinic: 675 E 17th Avenue @ Fraser Street.

Cost: $320
