A new team member: Sara Buckley

We’re very pleased to have a new physio joining our team. In addition to her work at Neuro-Ability, Sara works in acute neurosciences at VGH, giving her broad experience across the neuro-rehab spectrum.

To expand her knowledge and expertise in the field of Neurological Rehabilitation, Sara has taken several postgraduate courses, including the Bobath Concept, Manual Therapy for the Neurological Population and Cardiorespiratory Care. She has also worked on a research study involving individuals in the sub-acute stage of stroke for the past 3 years.

A new team member: Erica Tonner

We’re very pleased to have a new physio joining our team. Erica Tonner brings a wealth of experience from working in a wide range of areas including: acquired brain injury, acute spine injury, neurology, and burns/plastics. She has worked for a number of years in the GF Strong Spinal Cord and Acquired Brain Injury inpatient programs.¬†Erica has taken postgraduate courses in the Bobath concept and is in the process of obtaining her acupuncture certification.¬† She also enjoys sharing her passion for education as a clinical educator for physiotherapy and rehabilitation assistant students.

Erica says, “I’ve enjoyed learning from and engaging with individuals along their health continuum from acute through to rehabilitation and transition home and is excited to be a part of the Neruo-Ability team”.
